Department Summary
The College of Engineering, Technology, and Management (ETM) is a multidisciplinary college offering degree programs at multiple locations in the Pacific Northwest. Most students enroll at one of the two main campuses in Klamath Falls or Portland-Metro (in Wilsonville). Additionally, Oregon Tech offers its Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering and Technology degrees to employees of The Boeing Company at sites in the Puget Sound area. For students interested in online education, a number of ETM degrees are available through Oregon Tech Online.
The College of ETM provides a diverse array of academic programs, including bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering, engineering technology, and business management. The Seattle campus offers programs in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Additionally, we offer a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Technology and Management, tailored for students who have earned a technical Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree and are pursuing career advancement.

Position Summary
This position provides administrative and program support for the Computer Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology (CSET) and Electrical Engineering & Renewable Energy (EERE) programs within the College of Engineering, Technology and Management (ETM).
Responsibilities include administering departmental purchasing, travel, reimbursement, student organization funding, budget-related activities, records management, accreditation support, and event planning necessary to support program operations and services. The position serves as a primary administrative resource for faculty, students, external stakeholders, and university partners by administering established processes, facilitating communication, maintaining records, and supporting program delivery.
Work is performed with considerable independence in organizing assignments, managing competing priorities, coordinating recurring program activities, and completing administrative assignments from initiation through completion, receiving direction from the program department chairs. Duties require in-depth knowledge of the assigned programs and the application of established university, departmental, and regulatory requirements.
Using established procedures and criteria, the incumbent administers departmental purchasing, travel, reimbursement, and student organization funding processes, coordinates approvals, monitors compliance requirements, and resolves procedural issues to ensure assigned work progresses to completion. Final authority for budget decisions, policy interpretation, and matters outside established guidance remains with the department chair and applicable budget authorities.
Minimum Requirements
Three years of office experience which included two years at full performance level and experience generating documents AND lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.
