In the absence of Administration,youllbe responsible foroverseeing hospital operations and addressing problems or issues that may arise in any department when other supervisory personnel are not on the premises. Patient Care Treatment Provide nursing leadership and oversight with a positive and respectful approach that supports the needs of patients and families and aligns with the hospitals values. Help ensure hospital activities remaincoordinatedand that issues requiring supervisory attention are addressed appropriately. Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with teams throughout the hospital, providing leadership and coordination when Administration or other supervisory personnel are not on the premises. The Administrative Nursing Supervisor provides leadership in a positive direction consistent with the policies, goals,objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department. Qualifications Current RN licensure to practice in California Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the past 3 yearsrequired Management experience at the Charge Nurse level or higher preferred BLS certificationrequiredandmaintainedthereafter ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certificationrequiredandmaintainedthereafter NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certificationrequiredwithin 3 months andmaintainedthereafter PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certificationrequiredwithin 3 months andmaintainedthereafter Cross-trained employees will be exempt from certification requirements and willparticipateonly in activities where competence has been demonstrated Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers Ability to provide leadership in a positive direction that is consistent with the policies, goals,objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department Benefits Youll Enjoy No benefits for part-time positions Welcome To RRH Established for over 60 years, RRH is a non-profit, DNV-accredited, full-service hospital and integrated healthcare system serving our region across a 38-acre campus.
