    Administrative Mail Room Clerk III

    • Location: Onsite, Akron, OH (M-F 7:30pm - 4:30pm)
    • Contract: W2 only, 24 month contract
    • Pay: $ 18/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
    Overview
    This role involves managing mail and package distribution, performing clerical and administrative duties, and supporting departmental needs. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and organizational skills, requiring a proactive approach to learning and relationship building.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
    • Admin Services activities
    • Sorts and distributes incoming interoffice and US mail.
    • Accepts and delivers incoming packages (UPS/FedEx/Office Depot).
    • Applies postage to outgoing mail and processes outgoing UPS shipments.
    • Performs various clerical, administrative, and basic general duties including data processing, record and file creation and maintenance, mail distribution, package delivery, telephone Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate office equipment and software.
    • Demonstrates sound internal and external customer service.
    • Follows up with customers when appropriate.
    • Uses effective communication skills with good judgment.
    • Supports the department’s administrative needs, including maintaining appointment calendars, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements.
    Required Skills
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Must possess proficient computer and typing skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to follow established practices, procedures, and instructions, and produce basic administrative work products in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Able to handle confidential information
    • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
    • Should be able to safely lift and turn while holding up to 75 lbs.
