Description

Inventory Aide:
The Inventory Aide is responsible for counting, picking, restocking, and distributing low-unit-of-measure (LUM) medical supplies to nursing supply and PAR areas. Duties may also include distributing equipment and furniture to various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replenish PAR inventory levels and prepare chargeable supplies.
  • Identify and restock instruments, trays, and medical supplies.
  • Deliver medical/surgical supplies based on priority.
  • Process verbal, phone, EPIC, and handheld terminal requests.
  • Maintain clean and organized inventory areas.
  • Prepare mobile medical equipment for use.
  • Inspect supplies for damaged packaging and expired items.
  • Check in stock and non-stock items and report discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts as needed.
  • Verify expiration dates and rotate products to prevent outdating.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Inventory control experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Medical terminology experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must list any prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume.
