    Job Requirements

    • Coordinate daily dispatch schedules for inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
    • Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding schedules, appointments, and load status.
    • Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, manifests, and delivery paperwork.
    • Monitor shipment activity and update dispatch logs, tracking systems, and transportation records.
    • Assign dock doors, appointment times, and loading priorities based on operational needs.
    • Respond to driver check-ins, delays, route changes, and transportation issues in a timely manner.
    • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, scanning, and recordkeeping.
    • Maintain accurate inventory movement and shipment documentation.
    • Prepare reports related to freight activity, on-time performance, and dispatch metrics as requested.
    • Support warehouse leadership with additional administrative needs and special projects.
    • Help resolve routine shipment discrepancies and escalate urgent issues when necessary.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Follow standard work instructions as assigned
    • Perform hands-on tasks
    • Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
    • Maintain clean and organized workspace
    • Troubleshoot issues
    • Meet production standards
    • Work in a team environment
    • Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation
    • Inspection of product
    • Experience with electronic assembly, a plus

    • Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, clerical, or warehouse office experience required.
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); TMS/WMS/ERP experience preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with changing schedules.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Professional, dependable, and customer-service focused attitude.
