General
Description:
The
goal
of
the
Administrative
Data
&
Tech
Specialist
is
to
provide
administrative
support
for
the
staff
at
the
portables.
This
person
will
support
the
LACES
Period
of
Participation
(PoP)
project,
which
collects
required
data
from
students
without
a
social
security
number
on
file,
who
have
left
MA&CE
and
enter
it
into
the
LACES
data
system.
Additionally,
this
person
will
serve
as
a
backup
to
the
device
manager.
This
will
include
generating
reports
from
two
online
curriculum
resources,
Burlington
English
and
Aztec,
for
ESL
and
ABE/GED
respectively,
and
enter
proxy
attendance
data
into
the
LACES
data
system.
This
person
will
also
serve
as
a
backup
to
reset
student
usernames
and
passwords
for
Burlington
English
and
Aztec.
Additional
duties
include
providing
device
distribution
and
technology
troubleshooting
to
staff
and
students
as
needed.
Administrative
duties
will
include
copying,
filing,
data
entry,
and
other
duties
as
required
to
support
the
daily
operations
of
staff
at
the
portables.

ABE/GED/ESL/Citizenship

staff

the
portables
2.
Plans
and
implements
collection
of
required
data
for
students,
without
a
social
security
number
on
file,
who
have
left
the
MA&CE
program
for
90
days/exited
a
period
of
participation
(PoP)
3.
Generates
a
list
of
PoP
students
using
the
data
tracked
in
the
LACES
Data
Dashboard
Widget:
Student
PoPs
Eligible
for
Survey
4.
Administers
surveys
to
PoP
students
using
the
built-in
survey
questions
in
LACES
and
enters
the
data
into
LACES
5.
Works
with
the
Marketing
Department
to
develop
promotions
to
entice
PoPs
students
to
participate
in
the
survey
6.
Enters
proxy
attendance
hours
for
all
students
who
use
Burlington
English
(ESL)
or
Aztec
(ABE/GED)
software
verifiable
by
reports
generated
through
each
product

Enters
intake,
counseling,
and
testing
hours
for
new
students
who
attend
testing
and
enroll
in
MA&CE

Serves
as
backup
for
Burlington

and

Trains
