Major/Essential Functions

  • Processing protocols for the Institutional Biosafety Committee, Institutional Laboratory Safety Committee, and the Radiation Laser Safety Committee.
  • Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, meeting minutes, approval letters, and other supporting documentation.
  • Collaborates with the Biological Safety Officer, Radiation Safety Officer, and Chemical Hygiene Officer to coordinate risk assessments, consultations, and trainings.
  • Provides customer support for protocol submissions, including the Cayuse online submission system.
  • Process enrollments for the Occupational Health Program and work with the provider to complete the health evaluation for enrollees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
