    Administrative / Client Services Assistant
    Financial Services | Full-Time | Onsite

    Clifton Park, NY or Poughkeepsie, NY area.
    $18-20/hr, plus benefits and bonus potential.

    About the Opportunity
    A well-established financial services firm is seeking a personable, dependable, and professional Administrative / Client Services Assistant to join its team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and is eager to learn and grow within a professional financial services environment.

    Prior financial services or accounting experience is not required. Training will be provided. Our client is looking for the right person and personality first; technical and financial skills can be learned.

    Key Responsibilities
    Responsibilities will include a variety of administrative, clerical, and client-service functions, such as:
    • Greeting and assisting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
    • Answering phones and responding to routine inquiries
    • Providing administrative and clerical support to the office and team
    • Managing correspondence, documents, files, and other office materials
    • Assisting with scheduling and coordinating appointments
    • Maintaining an organized and professional office environment
    • Entering and maintaining information accurately
    • Following up on administrative tasks and ensuring items are completed on time
    • Assisting with client-related administrative needs
    • Learning the firm's systems, processes, and financial-services terminology
    • Taking on additional responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop

    Preferred, but not required:

    • Accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
    • Experience in financial services
    • Familiarity with office technology and computer systems
    No college degree is required.

    This is an entry-level-friendly position, and the company is willing to train the right candidate. You do not need to arrive with extensive financial or technical knowledge.
