Sigma is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our team in Turlock, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrative professional with strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office to join a fast-paced department environment.

Location: Turlock, CA
Duration: 2-Month Contract
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $26/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide daily administrative support to department operations and assist with routine office activities.
- Organize department meetings, coordinate schedules, and prepare meeting materials.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional assistance to customers and internal teams.
- Perform accurate data entry, order entry, filing, and record retention activities.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with supply ordering and tracking.
- Process purchase orders, expense reports, and administrative documentation.
- Support special projects and coordinate tasks as assigned.
- Prepare documents, correspondence, reports, and other business materials.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and resolve basic issues through phone and in-person communication.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, data entry, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Experience with internet-based tools and office systems.
- Knowledge of standard office procedures, filing systems, and business practices.
