In this dynamic role, youll serve as the organizational hub for the Dean of Students, providing administrative support, coordinating student-focused initiatives, managing compliance reporting, and helping advance programs that promote student success, wellness, and career development. What Youll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Dean of Students Office and provide comprehensive administrative support .
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, employees, and community partners, coordinating meetings, events, and communications.
  • Support the Student Success and Advising team by connecting students with campus resources and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain databases and records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy requirements.
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare reports to support planning, assessment, and institutional decision-making.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and financial records while ensuring compliance with college procedures.
  • Develop and distribute brochures, presentations, flyers, and other print and digital communications.
  • Coordinate student prevention, wellness, and career development events from planning and promotion to assessment and follow-up.
  • Manage data collection and reporting for the Biennial Review and other compliance initiatives, adhering to federal regulations.
  • Provide administrative support for Student Affairs initiatives and collaborate with departments across campus.
  • Participate on campus committees, contribute to process improvements, and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree and two years of directly related experience or four years of directly related experience in place of a degree.

  • Excellent customer service, telephone, and receptionist skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent keyboarding skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally and courteously with students, employees, and the public.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments and contribute to a positive and student-centered environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate bachelor's degree.
  • More than four years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Knowledge of student information systems, database management, or records management practices.
  • Experience preparing reports, maintaining confidential records, and coordinating office operations.
