Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

Schedule: Tuesday Friday, approximately 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Position Overview
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support front office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, stays organized, and can manage multiple administrative tasks while creating a welcoming first impression.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Administration:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting members, visitors, and employees
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, drafting correspondence, and data entry
- Maintain accurate member rosters and files
- Review timesheets and assist with payroll processing
Accounts Receivable:
- Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions
- Update customer accounts based on payments or contact changes
- Generate reports for the Business Office Manager
Additional Duties:
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media coordination and promotional materials
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Support company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
- Cash handling experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements- Sitting: Frequent and consistent
- Standing: Occasional
- Lifting: Occasionally up to 15 lbs
