Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Company: Hire Up Staffing
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support front office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, stays organized, and can manage multiple administrative tasks while creating a welcoming first impression.

Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Administration:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting members, visitors, and employees
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, drafting correspondence, and data entry
  • Maintain accurate member rosters and files
  • Review timesheets and assist with payroll processing

Accounts Receivable:
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions
  • Update customer accounts based on payments or contact changes
  • Generate reports for the Business Office Manager

Additional Duties:
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media coordination and promotional materials
  • Attend required meetings and trainings
  • Support company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
  • Cash handling experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting: Frequent and consistent
  • Standing: Occasional
  • Lifting: Occasionally up to 15 lbs
