US Army Reserve – Psychological Health Program
Administrative Assistant
The US Army Reserve Psychological Health Program (PHP) provides comprehensive behavioral health support to Reserve Soldiers and their families. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential operational support to the clinical team, managing program logistics, tracking outcomes, coordinating meetings, and serving as a liaison across behavioral health programs within the Army Reserve.
This is an on-site position based at Army Reserve installations, supporting a clinical team that serves Soldiers across multiple states.
Locations
Positions are available at Army Reserve installations within the following regions:
• 63rd Readiness Division – Fort Hood, TX area
• 81st Readiness Division – Spartanburg, SC area
Responsibilities
• Serve as the administrative point of contact for psychological health program operations
• Track and report program results, metrics, and outcomes
• Coordinate and schedule regional case management meetings and behavioral health events
• Serve as a liaison with behavioral health programs, boards, and directives
• Prepare verbal reports of significant matters within one business day and written summaries within one week
• Coordinate with Army Reserve leadership on administrative aspects of behavioral health initiatives
• Manage program documentation, files, and correspondence
• Support clinical staff with scheduling, data entry, and administrative tasks
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Some college education or vocational training in business administration, office management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional customer service orientation
• Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification preferred
Compensation
