    Job Summary: 

    The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and other department leaders.   

     

    Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities: 

    • Provides administrative support and assistance to the US manufacturing Plant Manager North America and/or other assigned department leaders 

    • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including communication and reporting on daily activities and ongoing projects 

    • Receives incoming communication on behalf of plant manager, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff 

    • Schedules and/or attends meetings on behalf of plant manager, taking notes and providing assistance to ensure the priorities are met and goals are achieved 

    • Assists with new employee orientation and onboarding 

    • Coordinates orders for IT equipment, kits, business cards and other items necessary for employee success 

    • Facilitates payment of vendors, service providers and suppliers 

    • Assists and/or arranges travel and accommodations for leadership team as necessary, including hotel booking, transportation, and meals 

    • Organizes team communications and events, both internally and offsite 

    • Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercises discretion when interfacing with the business 

    • Assist with other projects as needed 

    Travel Requirements: 

    • This is a onsite based role, however, up to 10% travel may be required to attend key industry and corporate events.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software

    • Ability to keep company confidences 

    Education and Experience: 

    • BS/BA or equivalent experience required, preferably in business-related field 

    • Two years of work experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management 

    • Preferred experience overseeing budgets and expenses 

    • Preferred experience developing internal processes and filing systems 

    Physical Requirements:  

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
