    We are seeking an Administrative Assistant, Logistics to join our International Projects team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    In the role of Administrative Assistant, Logistics, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

    • Assist the warehouse team with cycle counts, year-end inventory, deployment preparations, and volunteer coordination, ensuring accurate stock records that enable rapid response to relief needs.

    • Handle internal logistics requests, notarize Certificates of Donation, submit IT tickets, manage asset transfers, and coordinate Gift-in-Kind (GIK) forms, providing seamless operational backing for disaster-relief and ministry projects.

    • Gather and compile the weekly logistics report (procurement, transportation, emergency-medical readiness, cycle counts) and process monthly Purchasing Card, accounts-receivable data, maintaining fiscal integrity for mission-critical resources.

    • Process sales orders and oversee outbound shipments from the Wilkesboro office and warehouse, supporting timely delivery of supplies to field operations and partners.

    • Live out Samaritan''s Purse values by following all policies, attending daily devotions and prayer, and bearing a strong Christian witness to colleagues, volunteers, vendors, beneficiaries, and the public in every interaction.

    What are the qualifications?

    As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

    • Associate''s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two to four years'' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.

    • Ability to effectively learn new tasks and operational processes and support the completion of team goals and tasks.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    • Ability to learn new computer applications as required, such as Peoplesoft, Microsoft Access or other similar applications.
