Summary:
Performs duties related to the coordination of functions and activities in Respiratory Care Services, Sleep Care Lab and Pulmonary Function Testing. Functions in a pivotal role for the smooth operation of each department.
Responsibilities:
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Two (2) years Administrative Assistant experience required. Associate's Degree is acceptable in lieu of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong keyboarding abilities with good working knowledge of MS Office software programs.
- Working knowledge of medical terms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Environment:
- Normal heat, light, space and safe working environment. Occasional exposure to medical gases and dirty linen.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Typically requires minimum physical effort. Extended periods of computer work, which requires intense concentration at times. Occasional moderate physical effort required; lifting, pushing, pulling supplies or equipment (under 25 lbs).
