    DPP is seeking an Administrative Assistant II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Industry.
     
    Work location: Onsite in Goleta, CA
    Duration: 4 months
    Terms: W2 Contract
    Work authorization: US Citizen                 
     
    Position summary:
    • The Administrative Assistant II will support the security department.
    • As a member of the security department, you will be responsible for greeting and processing visitors, answering and managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to site management.
    • This role will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a key role in creating a positive first impression.
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences, and receiving, referring, or answering mail.
    • Review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage.
    • Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
    • Gather, compile and report on information relevant to supervisors’ assignment.
    • May take and transcribe dictation.
    Required qualifications:
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
    • Experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers).
    • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
    Preferred qualifications:
    • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
