DUTIES

POSITION SUMMARY Provides confidential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department. Assists with personnel records, onboarding, compliance, tracking, reporting, and department communications while ensuring accuracy, organization, and strict confidentiality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Confidential Records & Personnel Support

  • Maintain and organize confidential employee records and personnel files.
  • Track licensure, evaluations, leave records, and mandated trainings.
  • Process onboarding documentation, background checks, and employment verifications.

Human Resources Operations

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with benefits, leave, and compliance documentation.
  • Process employment actions (resignations, retirements, status changes).

Administrative Support

  • Manage calendars, meetings, interviews, and correspondence.
  • Prepare reports, letters, agendas, and presentations.
  • Serve as a primary contact for HR inquiries.

Meetings & Communication

  • Schedule meetings and prepare materials.
  • Record minutes and track follow-up items.
  • Draft and distribute HR communications.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain HR databases and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with reports for district leadership, Board, and compliance requirements.

Customer Service

  • Provide professional support to staff, applicants, and visitors.
  • Assist with HR systems and procedural guidance.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Assist with special projects and department initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required; HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of administrative or office support experience; HR or school district experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or district systems preferred.
  • Valid drivers license.

Salary & Benefits

  • Reports To: Director of Human Resources
  • Evaluation: Director of Human Resources
  • Work Day: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Work Year: 12 Months (260 Workdays)
  • Salary: $55,000
