Administrative Assistant
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced federal agency office in Washington, DC. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the support team, managing high-volume communications and ensuring timely, accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.
This position is fully onsite and requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and significant daily email traffic.
Program Mailbox Management: Monitor and manage multiple program outlook mailboxes, review and appropriately route incoming correspondence, identifying required actions, routing matters appropriately, and provide timely responses in accordance with established Agency procedures, guidance, and templates.
Program Tracking and Data Management: Track and maintain a high volume of requests, correspondence, assignments, deadlines, and program data to ensure information is accurate, current, and appropriately documented and that the required actions and follow-ups are completed timely.
Information Review and Coordination: Review, gather, and synthesize information from multiple sources and coordinate with team members and Agency personnel to obtain necessary information, prepare routine correspondence, and facilitate timely completion of program actions.
Administrative and Program Support: Maintain program records, prepare and format documents, and routine correspondence, update spreadsheets and trackers, conduct necessary follow-up, and perform other related administrative and program support.
