Overview
Support manager, Materials Handling & Transportation leadership, and production operators in day-to-day tasks
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily Material Handling & Transportation reports
- Maintain document control of all Material Handling records
- Schedule/ support interviews as needed
- Review payroll hours and track vacation hours for the department
- Provide monthly updates on departmental performance statistics
- Manage purchasing card for the department
- Maintain training records for all Shipping employees
- Perform other miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties
Qualifications
Required
- Strong safety record
- Strong computer aptitude/capability including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be self-motivated, able to make independent decisions, and work without direct supervision
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Clerical experience a plus
