Position Summary:
Maryland Works is a statewide nonprofit membership
organization that expands employment and business ownership for individuals
with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of
administrative and clerical tasks. This position will provide support to the
managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing Maryland
Works general administrative activities.
Responsibilities:
· Answer and direct phone calls.
· Organize and schedule appointments.
· Administrate multiple organization email accounts.
· Manage incoming training and event registrations and
honorariums.
· Provide administrative support for onsite and virtual
trainings.
· Take detailed minutes for staff meetings and Vendor
Business Partner meetings.
· Write and distribute mail, email, correspondence, memos,
letters, and forms.
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
· Develop and maintain electronic filing systems.
· Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
· Maintain contact lists.
· Provide general support to visitors.
· Act as point of contact for internal and external clients.
· Accommodate requests and queries for senior managers,
· Maintain shared office areas in an organized and
functional manner.
· Participate in the organization’s continuing learning on
issues of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
· Other duties as assigned
