    Qualifications:

    Ability to relate well to staff and board members of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religions.

    Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    The ability to work in a fast-paced, medium to high stress environment.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complicated information into clear and concise instructions.

    Excellent organizational, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

    Proficiency in MS Office and Office 365 (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe)

    The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position will provide support to the managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing Maryland Works general administrative activities.

    Responsibilities:

    · Answer and direct phone calls.

    · Organize and schedule appointments.

    · Administrate multiple organization email accounts.

    · Manage incoming training and event registrations and honorariums.

    · Provide administrative support for onsite and virtual trainings.

    · Take detailed minutes for staff meetings and Vendor Business Partner meetings.

    · Write and distribute mail, email, correspondence, memos, letters, and forms.

    · Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

    · Develop and maintain electronic filing systems.

    · Update and maintain office policies and procedures.

    · Maintain contact lists.

    · Provide general support to visitors.

    · Act as point of contact for internal and external clients.

    · Accommodate requests and queries for senior managers,

    · Maintain shared office areas in an organized and functional manner.

    · Participate in the organization’s continuing learning on issues of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

    · Other duties as assigned
