Description

Administrative Assistant

W-2 Temp Role

September 2026 - December 2026

Position would be in Cleveland, GA office

Monday- Friday 8:30-5:00

Pay- $18-$21 depending on experience Bilingual strongly preferred

POSITION PURPOSE:

Provide front-line support by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients with their needs. Support agents by coordinating marketing efforts and facilitating the sale of the insurance products and services offered by the agency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments

· Assisting agents with selling insurance products to clients via phone, email, website, or walk-in

· Fully understand and utilize all online services provided by Ritter Insurance Marketing, including MedicareCenter, CRM, and carrier-specific enrollment portals

· Maintain records and manage policy renewals using established systems

· Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, updating records, and generating reports

· Handle miscellaneous duties and special projects assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Associate degree or higher preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

· Basic understanding of the insurance industry and the agent-client relationship

· Familiarity with Insurance and Insurance related products

· Knowledge of marketing principles and new business development processes

· Understanding of administrative procedures and record-keeping practices

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter

· Strong customer service background with a client focused mindset

· Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with common office software and online tools.

· Comfortable handling client interactions both in person and over the phone

· Prior experience in insurance, marketing, or administrative support is preferred but not required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in person and by phone

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

· Proficient in computer applications, including email, word processing, and online portals

· Outstanding Customer Service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor

· Ability to operate standard office equipment, including copier, scanner, and telephone

· Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

FINGER DEXTERITY:

  • Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing.

TALKING:

  • Especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

AVERAGE HEARING:

  • Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES:

  • Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:

  • Sedentary and field work. Immersion in the community and meeting with individuals and groups of people. Driving/travel up to 80% Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
