    Administrative Assistant

    We are currently accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatrics. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to facility leadership while assisting with human resources functions and daily office operations.

    Qualifications

    • Must pass background check and drug screen
    • Previous administrative, human resources, or healthcare office experience preferred
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee and resident information
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment

    Essential Job Functions

    • Welcome visitors, applicants, residents, and family members in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, employee paperwork, and personnel file maintenance.
    • Support the hiring process by coordinating interviews, communicating with applicants, and assisting department managers.
    • Maintain employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
    • Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to general inquiries.
    • Provide administrative support to the Administrator and department heads.
    • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining office records.
    • Order and maintain office supplies and assist with other business office functions as needed.
    • Provide support with payroll and other business office duties as assigned.
    • Assist with accounts payable and patient trust responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
    • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support daily facility operations.
