Administrative Assistant
PrideStaff, a staffing firm specialized in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses is actively seeking an Administrative Assistant for a local company in the Bend area. The ideal Administrative Assistant will be detail-oriented and organized. They will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support for the team they are a part of. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 30 - 40 hours a week. Compensation ranges from $18-22 an hour, determined on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize calendars, appointments, and meetings
Ability to prioritize and process items timely and accurately
Keeps manager informed of problems or issues
Working knowledge of computer systems, copiers, fax machines and scanning technology
Responsible for preparing, scanning and indexing assigned documents accordingly
Manage office supplies and inventory
Answer and direct phone calls and emails
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a self-starter and be able to function with little or no supervision
Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with staff, patients, vendors, and the public
Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
Enthusiasm for working as a member of a team in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent organization skills
Current Oregon Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance
High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands Required to Fulfill Essential Functions of this Position:
Employee must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Employee must be able to focus on tasks while in an active office environment where conversation and noise is prevalent. Employee must be able to operate a keyboard, write, speak, and hear. Employee must be able to read small print both on paper and on a computer screen for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Must be able to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends.
