Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 2–3 Month Contract Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills to support internal departments, staff members, external partners, and the public.
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively, maintain confidentiality, and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment while delivering exceptional administrative support.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to departmental staff and leadership
Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
Respond to inquiries regarding processes, documentation, and case-related information
Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate departmental activities
Assist staff and external contacts with locating records, files, and information
Perform case management and record review functions as assigned
Prepare, maintain, and update reports, records, and statistical data
Perform general office duties including:
Data entry
Scanning
Photocopying
Faxing
Filing
Mailing
Maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
Support special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of general clerical or administrative experience required
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and databases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling high-volume administrative or clerical workloads preferred
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy preferred
Ability to manage frequent interruptions while maintaining productivity
Post-secondary education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
