Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant 4. This position provides administrative support to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and assists the Dean with routine clerical support and assistance to professional staff within the departments as needed. The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is composed of the Department of Health and Human Sciences, the Department of Kinesiology and the School of Nursing. The Administrative Assistant 4 encompasses all administrative duties, travel, timekeeping, supervising GA's and a student worker, budget management, clerical duties, purchasing, hiring, inventory, coordinates the review and approval of all graduation applications for all departments within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
The successful candidate is expected to provide outstanding customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors, maintain well-organized files and records, and perform other office duties as required. This position will assist with organization of events, social media posts, compose letters, input service requests. The Administrative Assistant 4 may perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, occasionally run errands and assists with special projects as needed.
The incumbent must be able to perform all of the task statements, which are considered to be Essential Functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Current Salary: $15.76/hr
