Admin Specialist – Hillsborough, NC
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Summary
The Admin Specialist will provide administrative, financial, project, data, and customer service support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budget development, expenditure monitoring, and financial statement reconciliation.
- Investigate financial discrepancies and process corrective actions.
- Coordinate and independently complete special projects.
- Arrange conferences, meetings, seminars, and other departmental activities.
- Extract, compile, analyze, and interpret data from various sources and databases.
- Manage departmental information systems.
- Prepare databases, reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.
- Compose formal correspondence and other internal/external documents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex administrative and customer service issues.
- Interpret and communicate organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to lower-level staff.
- Assist with application screening and initial interviews for entry-level positions when needed.
- Investigate patient and provider complaints and prepare reports identifying root causes and service recovery actions.
- Support departmental operations while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs.
