    Admin Specialist – Hillsborough, NC

    Contract: 13 Weeks
    Schedule:

    • Monday & Wednesday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
    • Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

    Job Summary

    The Admin Specialist will provide administrative, financial, project, data, and customer service support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with budget development, expenditure monitoring, and financial statement reconciliation.
    • Investigate financial discrepancies and process corrective actions.
    • Coordinate and independently complete special projects.
    • Arrange conferences, meetings, seminars, and other departmental activities.
    • Extract, compile, analyze, and interpret data from various sources and databases.
    • Manage departmental information systems.
    • Prepare databases, reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.
    • Compose formal correspondence and other internal/external documents.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex administrative and customer service issues.
    • Interpret and communicate organizational policies and procedures.
    • Provide guidance and support to lower-level staff.
    • Assist with application screening and initial interviews for entry-level positions when needed.
    • Investigate patient and provider complaints and prepare reports identifying root causes and service recovery actions.
    • Support departmental operations while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Strong customer service and customer-focused approach.
    • Proven ability to resolve customer problems effectively.
    • Strong technical and administrative skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for creating reports and documents.
    • Ability to learn and effectively use scheduling systems.

    • Strong accountability and ability to meet performance expectations.
    • Ability to understand and support internal and external customer requirements.
    • Understanding of insurance processes and appropriate customer referrals.
