Description

Admin Assistant & Business Development CoordinatorOn-Site | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $50,000–$60,000/year | Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role

You'll be the right hand to our Managing Attorney on the business side of her practice. She's building the firm's estate planning work, and that means getting in front of the right people — the professional groups, community organizations, and events where the people who need this work actually are. Your job is to find those opportunities, get her signed up and scheduled, and keep every thread that comes out of them from going cold.

This isn't a sales job, and it isn't a legal job. You won't be closing anyone and you don't need any legal background — we'll teach you what you need to know about what we do. What you will do is research, organize, follow up, and keep an attorney who is very busy pointed at the things that matter most. It suits someone with administrative or coordinator experience who thinks like a businessperson: curious about where opportunities come from, comfortable reaching out to people, and organized enough that nothing gets lost. You'd work directly with the Managing Attorney every day, with real room to grow as this side of the firm grows.

Relevant Backgrounds: Executive Assistant · Administrative Assistant · Business Development · Marketing Coordinator · Events Coordinator · Client Relations · Office Administration · Inside Sales Support · Account Coordinator

What You'll Do

  • Research professional groups, associations, community organizations, and events where the Managing Attorney should have a presence
  • Register her for events, handle the logistics, and make sure her calendar reflects them
  • Prepare what she needs ahead of time — background on who'll be there, materials, and talking points
  • Track everyone she meets and every commitment made, and follow up so nothing goes cold
  • Keep an organized record of contacts, referral sources, and outreach in our systems
  • Reach out to organizations and partners on her behalf to open doors and arrange introductions
  • Manage the calendar, scheduling, and correspondence tied to this side of her practice
  • Watch for new opportunities — sponsorships, speaking slots, partnerships — and bring them to her
  • Coordinate with the marketing and intake teams so outreach and follow-up connect properly
  • Keep client and firm matters confidential

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable managing several priorities at once for someone whose schedule moves constantly
