Job Summary: Reporting to the Chair of Biology Department, the Adjunct will teach Anatomy and Physiology. Candidates should have the ability and willingness to teach Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2. Salary Range: $1,605 per credit - $1,730 per credit (Adjunct and Senior Adjunct)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate biology courses in various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online. Instruct a range of biology courses, with preference for expertise in genetics, ecology, microbiology, or immunology (lecture and lab). Develop and teach advanced biology courses in the candidates area of expertise. Conduct research and engage in scholarly activities. Mentor students in coursework, research, and career development. Support student research and internship opportunities in alignment with the Colleges mission. Engage in departmental and College-wide service, including committees and academic initiatives. Collaborate with faculty and students in a dynamic academic environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field. Experience using technology for multimodal learning. Strong commitment to the Colleges mission, students, faculty, and staff.
