Position Information
Position Title Adjunct Microbiology Instructor Requisition Number A00045P Job Summary/Basic Function
Teach one or more sections of MICR 1113 (LS Introductory Microbiology), MICR 1153 (LS Public Health: Sex, Travel, Food, & Drugs), MICR 2054 (LS Principles of Microbiology Laboratory), and possibly upper division courses or labs, depending on need and qualifications.
This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in microbiology or related biological discipline.
Ability to use multimedia equipment and course management systems in an instructional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience.
