Adjunct Instructors Needed

Adjunct Instructor Positions Available Gogebic Community College is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions to teach in many areas within GCC. These position s report to the Vice President of Academic Services. The courses may be taught in-person, on -line or offered as hybrid models and could be at the Ironwood or Houghton locations . Immediate needs are in the following areas: Statistics and English Essential Duties and Responsibilities : • In most cases, t he classes are fully developed ; however, adjuncts may need to develop teaching materials, including syllabi, tests, PowerPoints, and other instructional materials as needed. • Selecting, developing, and revising course materials as necessary. • Adhere to the college's academic schedule and requirements for syllabi submissions, early student updates, grad e due dates, student office hours, and other relevant deadlines and dates. • Keeping students informed regarding course requirements, evaluation measures, and attendance policies. • Working effectively with other faculty and staff. • Ability to use computer supported enrollment and student tracking systems. (e.g. Moodle) • Attendance at semester Welcome Back Week updates and meetings as recommended . Required Qualifications : • A Master 's degree from an accredited institution, in the area of study that will be taught or at a minimum , 18 credits of master 's-level study in the di scipline.
