POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY:

The college is building a pool of adjuncts for onsite teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate academic department. Clinical instruction for pre-licensure nursing students in acute care (medical-surgical), community health, pediatrics, and/or mental health settings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Holds at least the master''s degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master''s Degree in nursing from an accredited institution, or a bachelor''s degree in nursing and a master''s degree in a closely related field. A clear unencumbered Florida RN License, compact RN license preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience teaching pre-licensure students in the clinical setting.
