Sussex County Community College is seeking qualified and experienced culinary arts professionals to serve as Adjunct Faculty in the Culinary Arts Program. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction in knife skills, protein fabrication, cooking techniques, use of commercial equipment and sanitation while preparing students for successful employment in the hospitality industry. Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering classroom, and laboratory instruction that aligns with industry standards and college learning outcomes. Faculty are expected to foster a safe, engaging, and student-centered learning environment while promoting professionalism, technical excellence, and workforce readiness.

Required Qualifications
Prior Higher Education teaching experience and teaching experience at the community college level is strongly preferred.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or a similar learning platform is preferred.
Adjunct pay is based on $910 per credit hour.
