Job Description

Position Summary:This position is for instruction of specialized courses in the MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing program at LIU Brooklyn, specifically the LIU Brooklyn Summer Writing Program Graduate Workshop: Kickstarting Your Novel. https://liu.edu/summer-writing-program/creative-writing-workshops

Key Responsibilities:Teach the course, which includes part lecture and part peer-reviewed writing workshop. Hold student office hours. Coordinate publishing expert guests.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:Must be a multi-time published author with years of experience.

Working Conditions:One professor will be hybrid (in person at Brooklyn and online) and one will be online.

Materials & Equipment:Ability to host online classes.
