Position Summary:
Temporary, part-time adjunct faculty in the Department of English, which offers programs in English literature; English Education; Writing, Editing, and Publishing; and Film Studies. Candidates must be available to teach face-to-face, not remotely. Please note that the majority of adjunct teaching opportunities is available in the area of college writing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MA or equivalent in a discipline appropriate to the one in which the candidate wishes to teach (e.g., Rhetoric and Composition, English, English Education, Film Studies)
- Commitment to and evidence of quality instruction at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in a discipline appropriate to the one in which the candidate wishes to teach (e.g., Rhetoric and Composition, English, English Education, Film Studies)
- Past record of successful college-level teaching experience in the discipline of employment.
- Experience using the Canvas learning platform and with courses that have received Quality Matters approval.
