Position Summary Concordia University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Theology. Teaching responsibilities include "The Bible and/or Christian Faith" in the Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semesters on the Mequon campus.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission policies and procedures of the university. All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Exhibits a willingness and ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations. Demonstrates effective leadership, organizational skills, and is a self-starter. Familiar with the university campus life. Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to present a Christian and professional manner.
Candidates should possess strong written and oral communications skills. All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work well with students of different ages and from other countries and religions. Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin, Ann Arbor, and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Education & Experience Masters Degree Required. Status as an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod or of a sister synod in fellowship with the LCMS. Effective teaching ability at the undergraduate level. Physical Demands: Equipment
