Department/Position Summary: The Department of Psychological Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Western Oregon University invites qualified applications for part -time instructional faculty positions to teach undergraduate courses in psychology. These positions are part of a faculty applicant pool intended to support the department's instructional needs on an ongoing basis. The department is seeking candidates with expertise in areas such as General Psychology, Life -Span Development, Social Psychology, Research Methods, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Quantitative Methods, and other specialty topic s. Applicants with a PhD are preferred, though those with a master's degree and relevant experience will be considered. Priority will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience in higher education. The faculty hired through this pool will join a collaborative and student -focused department committed to academic excellence and inclusive teaching practices. The Department of Psychological Sciences offers a rigorous curriculum grounded in scientific res earch and application, preparing students for a wide range of careers and graduate study.
