Job Description The Department of Womens and Gender Studies at Old Dominion University invites applicants for part-time Adjunct teaching opportunities within the department. Although we are currently fully staffed, we are seeking individuals who may be available to teach as opportunities arise.
Those selected will be hired as part of an adjunct pool which will be utilized as needed based on which courses are in need of coverage. We tend to have the greatest need for instructors who can teach daytime on-campus courses between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, most often in our General Education class Women, Gender, and Technology. Some online asynchronous teaching opportunities may also be available.
