    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to deliver instruction in the manner determined by the La Verne Experience team. In addition, faculty responsibilities may include:

    • Preparation of syllabus and teaching of curriculum according to the goals and objectives of La Verne Experience 200.
    • Determine student mastery of the material and assign final course grades from evaluation of reflections, presentations, and other assignments and activities related to course material.

    Workload

    Assigned teaching duties will be 2 units; office hours will occur outside of class hours.

    Required Qualifications

    Adjunct faculty candidates must have a Master's degree from a regionally-accredited institution. Experience working with college students and/or evidence of experience with preparing students for their careers.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience teaching at the college level or advising/counseling students in career preparedness.

    Hiring Salary Per Hiring Rank:

    • Adjunct Instructor (no terminal degree): $27.04
    • Adjunct Professor (with terminal degree): $28.08
    • College of Law (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates Pre-Selected Course ONLY): $57.20
    • Bachelors of Science, Nursing Program (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates): $50.00
    • Physician Assistants' Program (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates): $104.00
