    Adjunct Faculty - Engineering Management (Accepting Applications)

    Job Description:

    The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary's University invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty in Engineering Management beginning Spring 2027 and ongoing.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Teach assigned upper-division courses in Engineering Management, including Systems Engineering, Quality Control & Lean Six Sigma, and Engineering Management Capstone.
    • Deliver engaging online instruction and maintain high academic standards.
    • Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
    • Adhere to course outcomes and assessment standards established by the Bolte School of Business.
    • Apply relevant academic and professional expertise in engineering management, systems engineering, quality control, Lean Six Sigma, project management, operations, or related fields.

    Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

    Required

    • Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, or a related field, OR a Ph.D. in one of these areas.
    • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.

    Preferred

    • Prior university-level teaching experience.
    • Professional or industry experience in engineering, engineering management, systems engineering, quality management, Lean Six Sigma, project management, operations, or a related field.
    • Relevant professional certifications, such as Lean Six Sigma, are desirable.
    • Experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to engineering, quality, operations, or process-improvement problems.
    • Evidence of scholarly engagement and professional development.

    Salary

    $3500/per course
