The College of Medicine at the University of Houston invites applicants with expertise to be considered for non-tenure track, part-time adjunct employment opportunities. Areas include Community Health, Health Policy, Behavioral & Social Sciences, Health Systems & Population Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Sciences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree, M.D., DO, Ph.D. or J.D. in related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in teaching
• Expertise in health care and medical education
• Commitment to innovative approaches to education and learning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using different teaching methods which might include case-based learning, 'flipped classroom', problem-based

learning (PBL), interactive large group presentation, audience response systems, and curriculum delivery systems.

• Experience with student mentoring and advising
