Full-time/Part-time Part-Time Position Type Faculty Job Summary/Basic Function
This position reports to the Dean of Occupational and Workforce Programs. The instructor will have the opportunity to teach in-person or remote to facilitate student learning in CAD software to achieve course learning outcomes. Instructor will convey the syllabus requirements to the students, do assessment on student work and report student grades to the registrar.

Instruct courses in Computer Aided Design using AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other platforms utilized in technical industries.

Adhere to the ethical standards of the college, the State of Michigan, the Higher Learning Commission, FERPA and other education regulations, and the welding profession.

Stay abreast of developments in the fields of welding and teaching by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional development opportunities.

Communicate with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional manner through the use of telephone, email, video conference, mail, and/or face-to-face communication.

Work with tutors, learning assistants, or student workers as needed.

Participate in professional activities such as, but not limited to, curriculum planning, syllabus writing, examination development, textbook selection, program revision, and outcome assessment.
