Job Description

Title: Adjunct Assistant Professor Department: BA of PsychologyReporting Relationship: Chairperson The Department of Psychology at LIU Post seeks adjunct faculty for undergraduate level courses. The candidate should have specialized knowledge of and/or experience teaching in fields related to Psychology. The instructor will be expected to write lectures, prepare a syllabus describing course objectives, content, and the testing/grading plan, maintain a Brightspace course webpage, upload student handouts to Brightspace, conduct classes in person, and be available for weekly office hours to assist students. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and instruct a undergraduate-level course, integrating the latest research and innovative practices. • Collaborate with the chairperson and other faculty in the development of the course Qualifications: • A Master's or PhD in Psychology, or a related field. • Demonstrated expertise applicable to the undergraduate level course Salary Range:$1,000-$1,350 per creditLIU is an equal opportunity employer.
