Job Summary:This role focuses on assessing and defining the performance of advanced driver-assistance and automated driving systems. You will prepare vehicles and equipment for testing, execute evaluations, and analyze collected data to identify areas for improvement. The position requires a proactive approach to delivering high-quality automotive safety technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of system software.
- Configure and troubleshoot test benches, vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
- Support system evaluation and tuning for North American road conditions.
- Implement methods for benchmarking competitor vehicle ADAS capabilities.
- Gather and analyze data from on-road and proving ground evaluations.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with data acquisition and testing equipment.
- Functional knowledge of high-precision GPS systems.
- Proficiency in scripting for data analysis.
Experience evaluating automated driving systems (ADS) or advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in the automotive industry is required.
