ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION Successful candidate must have a good knowledge of and experience in providing assessment, consultation, program development and direct instruction in the area of adapted physical education for identified pupils with exceptional needs. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with teachers as an instructional team. Regular education teaching experience is desirable. Must demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effective instructional strategies, and communication skills. Teaching assignment may include all grade levels of physical education. Must be CLAD certified. Adapted Physical Education Specialist Credential certificate as added authorization to: California Single Subject: Physical Education credential with EL authorization OR California Education Specialist credential with EL authorization and Autism authorization
