About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated
Adapted PE Instructor to provide specialized physical education services to students with diverse needs for one of our school location in Canal Winchester, OH. This role is part‑time, 2 days per week, continuing through the end of the school year. The instructor will design and implement individualized activities that promote physical fitness, motor skills, and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver adapted PE instruction tailored to student abilities and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and participation.
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all learners.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio teaching license with Adapted Physical Education endorsement (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
