    BayCare is currently in search of a highly skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist Pool/PRN to join our dynamic team within a hospital-based, multi-disciplinary environment. This role supports high-acuity specialty programs, including but not limited to neurology, cardiopulmonary, oncology, trauma, and complex medical-surgical populations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

    Acute Physical Therapist Pool/PRN Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists to coordinate care.
    • Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and post-discharge recommendations.
    • Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Required PT (Physical Therapy)
    • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
    • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
    • Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy
    • Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist

    Location: Winter Haven, FL

    Status: Pool (Non-Benefit Eligible), Exempt: No

    Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Flexible/Days

    Weekend Work: Occasional

    On Call: No
