About the Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing Acumatica Value-Added Reseller (VAR) seeking an experienced Acumatica Financial Consultant with payroll implementation experience. This consultant will work directly with clients to implement, configure, and support Acumatica's financial applications while serving as one of the firm's payroll subject matter experts.
Unlike many consulting organizations, this team operates collaboratively rather than in silos, giving consultants the opportunity to broaden their expertise across clients, industries, and functional areas while working alongside an experienced implementation team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Acumatica Financial Management implementations.
- Implement, configure, and support Acumatica Payroll.
- Consult with clients on accounting, payroll, and business process best practices.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Acumatica solutions.
- Configure GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and related financial modules.
- Conduct client discovery sessions, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing client support.
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on more complex client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on Acumatica consulting experience.
- Strong functional knowledge of Acumatica Financial modules.
- Experience implementing and supporting Acumatica Payroll.
- Experience implementing payroll within other ERP platforms (Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar) is highly valued.
- Experience supporting existing payroll customers as well as leading new payroll implementations.
- Accounting, payroll administration, finance, or ERP consulting background preferred.
- Excellent client-facing communication and consulting skills.
