Position OverviewProviding unique and enriching vacation experiences for guests through activity delivery and glamping quality.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute, supervise, and provide guidance to a variety of activities offered, not limited to: Archery, throwing activities, aerial activities, and fishing appropriate for ages 6+Facilitate short tours of property while driving company vanAssist guests with activity scheduling and creating a seamless experienceKnowledge experts for on-site hiking trails, local adventures, and attractive family destinations Assists the glamping site in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and lodgingModel the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactionsMaintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work areaPerform additional duties assigned by SBR leadershipAbide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbookQualificationsMinimum age: 18+Preferred: Outdoor recreation experienceComplete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery rangemaster (training provided)Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communicationPhysical & Practical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 poundsComplete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelinesHousing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55Desired TraitsHigh emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focusAdaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skillsAbility to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgroundsPerformance ExpectationsProvide at least one memorable moment that matters to a guest Contribute at least one improvement to department Receive two or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or guests
