The schedule for this position will be: Monday 8:45am - 3:15pm Tuesday: 8:15am - 11:30am Wednesday 11:15am - 3:15pm Thursday: 8:45am - 3:15pm

What does an Activity Aid do? As an Activity Aid in our day services program, you'll help participants reach personal goals through hands-on activities and community engagement. You will:
Lead daily activities for groups of 6-10 individuals (facility-based day services) Guide small groups of 3-4 on community outings (community based day services) Support learning, creativity, social interaction, and independence in our facility Lead Activities including:
Preparing healthy snacks, gardening, and nutrition lessons Creative arts: music, dance, craft projects, art, and photography Physical and recreational activities such as yoga, fitness, basketball, or bowling Educational outings to museums, historical sites, fire stations, and government buildings Teaching skills for accessing community resources-libraries, public transit, parks, and more
There are no personal cares involved in CRIs day services program.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, equivalent or teacher recommendation. Access to reliable transportation and clean driving record. Successful completion of a Department of Justice background check. Must have a cell phone/the ability to communicate while at the various sites in the community.
