JOB SUMMARY:
Activity Assistants work with the residents to provide social programming as well as assist with various non-clinical resident needs throughout the day. Activity Assistants coordinate internal and external entertainment and events. Activity Assistants also complete charting per state and federal guidelines.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Plans and conducts activity programming
- Completes required / assigned charting
- Facility crafting and decorating
- Light baking as part of activity programming or for special events
- Light cleaning and organizing of activity spaces and resident rooms
- Assisting in dining rooms
- Concierge services
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; and
- One or more years of progressively responsible related experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid driver's license
- C.P.R. Certification
- Nursing Assistant Certification (desirable)
